Single-Row Roller Slewing Bearings
Single-row roller slewing bearings use cylindrical rollers instead of balls to enlarge the contact surface, offering up to twice the load and moment capacity of ball models. Production starts with standard sizes from Ø300 mm to Ø2000 mm and can be customized up to Ø5000 mm according to project requirements.
They are ideal solutions for wind turbine yaw systems, crawler cranes and foundry rotary tables, where tilting moments are critical in addition to high axial and radial forces. The roller arrangement reduces rolling resistance, and thanks to homogeneous heat distribution the operating temperature is on average 10 °C lower than ball designs.
As Nursan, in our roller bearing solutions offered with internal gear, external gear or gearless options, we provide superior wear resistance with high-module tooth profiles, heat-treated 42CrMo4 rings and 50–60 HRC hardness. With optional sensor slots we also support preventive maintenance by monitoring vibration and temperature data in real time.
